Watercolour of a mountain range at sunset
Quick watercolour
This is a watercolour of a mountain range at sunset. The mountain range in the distance with a small boat in the foreground.
A lighthouse warning passing shipping of the rocks and the village at the foot of the mountain starts to light up.
The moon creeping through the clouds and the boat heading to sea..
What could be the story?
No photos used, just developed as it went along. Took about 30 minutes. Job done
A quick watercolour of a lighthouse in Morocco.
My dad posted a photo of a lighthouse in Morocco on Facebook.
Here's my draft of it.
Needs to be straighter....

Relaxing
I've tried to incorporate the act of relaxation into this two colour / two mediums picture.
It's a combination of water colour and acrylic
My model posed for the photo... She was Relaxed because there was no pose!! Aunque natural... and I think it works for me.
Acrylic Rock
My version of a photo I took of blues rock maestro Larry Miller in concert.
Just white on black... Nothing else.
I think it rocks....
No Frontiers
The attached picture is an oil painting by my wife, Julie.
It's her birthday present to me..
Thanks for the thought xxx
It depicts freedom.. Inspired by the current political situation in Gibraltar, A bird flying with no worries, no problem with borders or frontiers, just flight and freedom. No one cares where the birds land, Spain or Gib ... Peace.

Art for art's sake
This is a watercolour of a dilapidated barn / farm shed in Harlow common, in summer after the wheat on the field in front has been harvested.
The contrast of brown versus the green and blue appealed to me, as did the old barn with its broken roof, tiles missing etc... A building that has seen proud and prosperous times in its heydays...

Foraging into modern art
This is a picture I painted in acrylics. It is a depiction of a lion.
I chose green and black to accentuate nature and keep it somewhat muted and mysterious...
