Smudge... Pet Art

The following is a recent sketch of our son and daughter in law's (Sean +Michelle) dog, Smudge.

I have also provided a 'Warholesque' version of the sketch.  I think you'll agree..  It works!!

Good fusion of old medium (pencil) and new medium (digital)

A view from Gibraltar

This was a photo posted on Facebook,  again a good prompt to paint.
This is a view of the Rif mountain range in Morocco, North Africa from Gibraltar. I love painting scenery....

This was painted by me earlier this year and my daughter in law, Kealy commandeered it for her and Paul's house...  Chuffed!!

I've also added a modern stylised version of the artwork that make it look quite snazzy

Quaint España

Windows of Grazalema.

This was a photo posted on Facebook by my cousin Joe and I liked it so much, I painted it.... :-)
It's in Andalucía,  southern Spain.

It depicts the quaint white washed walls and colourful plants in the windows and balconies of Spain. The black railings accentuating the white.
Enjoy the vista....

One of mine

Painted a few years ago.
It is one of our sons with one of our dogs at a lake in a forest at dusk...

Sean,  my youngest,  liked it so much he has it in his office..

Gibraltar amateur artists

As I've got older I have started to paint and draw more using all kinds of mediums .
So have some of my friends like Ernest.
I would like  to start a blog to share our work  with the world and show off some Gibraltar talent and art .

Please add your works of art,  add comments,  keep painting ,
As a tribute to a great artist who will forever be missed, it is my uncle Joe Santos
